Description
Small green tree frogs proliferate in especially high numbers in tropical latitudes, finding shelter and feeding platforms wherever they can. Surfaces that are smooth and shiny not only allow them to cling strongly, but reflect light and heat that attract the small insects on which they feed. This particular frog found the area between window frames on the outside skin of an Airstream travel trailer particularly advantageous for its purposes. The heads of the rivets that surround it are .25 inches wide, which gives a sense of how small these frogs tend to be.
